Charles Blauner is an internationally recognized expert, independent advisor on Cyber Resiliency, Information Security Risk Management and Data Privacy.
Charles is Operating Partner and CISO in Residence at global venture group Team8 and a Venture Advisor at the Cyber Mentor Fund. Charles is also the President of Cyber Aegis, a boutique cyber risk management consultancy. Charles has worked in Information and Cyber Security for over 30 years, 25 years in Financial Services, including being CISO at JP Morgan and Deutsche Bank, and most recently the Global Head of Information Security at Citi. Charles has held numerous industry leadership roles including Chair of the Financial Services Sector Coordinating Council (FSSCC), founding Director of the Financial Services Information Sharing and Analysis Center (FS-ISAC), and the Chair of the OpenGroup’s Security Program. Charles has worked closely with banking regulators around the world (OCC, FRB, BoE, MAS, and HKMA) to help reduce the risk posed by cyber threats to the financial sector at large. Charles has a M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Southern California (USC) and a B.S. in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI).
Daniel Conroy is the Chief Technology Officer for Raytheon Technologies, responsible for leading the strategy and delivery of IT infrastructure across the company. Conroy leads a team that ensures critical systems and business operations are available and resilient to enable the company to succeed.
Most recently, Conroy served as the corporate vice president and chief information security officer for United Technologies. Conroy was responsible for leading efforts related to enterprise cyber security, digital compliance and IT risk management; with focus on cloud security, application and data security and creating security solutions that enabled best-in-class experience for customers, suppliers and employees.
Conroy has more than 26 years of progressive work experience within digital technology. Prior to joining UTC, Conroy served as Chief Information Security Officer for Synchrony Financial, was the head of strategy, planning and governance for Citi as well as managing director and chief information security officer for The Bank of New York Mellon.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering from the Institute of Technology, Tallaght in Dublin, Ireland.
